Logistic regression was used to estimate the probability of manuscript and peer review submissions on weekends or holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u5468\u672b\u548c\u56fd\u5bb6\u8282\u5047\u65e5\u4ee5\u53ca\u6bcf\u65e5\u4e0d\u540c\u65f6\u95f4\uff08\u786e\u5b9a\u6e05\u6668\u53ca\u5348\u591c\uff09\u6295\u7a3f\u7684\u8bba\u6587\u548c\u540c\u884c\u8bc4\u8bae\u3002\u91c7\u7528logistic\u56de\u5f52\u4f30\u8ba1\u5468\u672b\u53ca\u8282\u5047\u65e5\u8bba\u6587\u6295\u7a3f\u53ca\u540c\u884c\u8bc4\u8bae\u7684\u6982\u7387\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Results<\/strong>\u00a0\u7ed3\u679c<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The analyses included more than 49\u2009000 manuscript submissions and 76\u2009000 peer reviews. Little change over time was seen in the average probability of manuscript or peer review submissions occurring on weekends or holidays. The levels of out of hours work were high, with average probabilities of 0.14 to 0.18 for work on the weekends and 0.08 to 0.13 for work on holidays compared with days in the same week. Clear and consistent differences were seen between countries.
